Course content
|
The course contains an explanation of biophysical principles in physiological and pathological processes of human organism, explaining basic action mechanisms of selected physical factors on life systems with a focus on ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, mechanical factors, ultrasound and thermal field.

Learning outcomes
|
The goal of the course is explanation of biophysical principles in physiological and pathological processes of human organism. To explain basic action mechanisms of selected physical factors on life systems with a focus on ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, mechanical factors, ultrasound and thermal field.
Students will obtain basic information about physical differences of individual methods and their biological effects. They will get acquainted with the different types of these methods and devices that are used for these examinations.
