Course content
|
Skin anatomy and physiology, clinical morphology, allergy problems in dermatology, external therapy, disorders of blood vessels and their treatment. Psoriasis and other disorders of keratinization. Skin reactions to radiation. Naevi, benign and malignant tumors. Parasitic, fungal, bacterial and viral infections. Venereal diseases, transmission manners, diagnosis, treatment.

Learning outcomes
|
Students will acquire basic information about the most common skin and sexually transmitted diseases with the accent on the clinical features of these disorders.
Students will be able to implement acquired knowledge to the diagnostic-therapeutic process.

Active participation in seminars, knowledge of basic skin and sexually transmitted diseases with a focus on practical applications of knowledge during the seminars and the final exam.
