Educational activities are particularly focused on the diarrhoeal diseases, infections of the nervous system (including purulent and aseptic meningitis, meningococcal invasive disease, tick-borne meningoencephalitis, Lyme borreliosis, facial nerve affections), viral and bacterial acute respiratory infections and subsequent conditions, viral hepatitis and differential diagnosis of liver diseases, parasitic infections, infection HIV /AIDS, sepsis and infective endocarditis, travel infections (typhoid fever, malaria and others), zoonoses, fungal diseases, etc.
The student will be able to diagnose the most frequent infectious diseases including differential diagnostics and therapeutic possibilities, especially within the first contact with the patients suffering from infectious diaseases.
