Learning outcomes
Human physiology is a dynamic science studying the functions of normal healthy human organism, and it treats of its development, regulation, and integration.
The aim of the study is obtaining of the basic theoretical and practical knowledge which are necessary for understanding of normal function of the cells, tissues, and organs, such as obtaining of essential information about their control and integration with particular regard to the bachelor education of optometry. Students know fundamental methods of working and procedures in physiological laboratory. Mastering the contents of the course is a prerequisite for further study of preclinical and clinical disciplines.
Prerequisites
Students ought to have fundamental biology and medical physics.
