Learning outcomes
|
The course extends and deepens the knowledge obtained in basic Pharmacology course. The course focuses on the most important problems of pharmacotherapy in nursing. It particularly emphases the pharmacotherapy of specific patient groups (children), the clinical development of new drugs and informs students about the competencies of nurses in the field of pharmacotherapy abroad.
Students will: -understand the principles of introducing of new drugs into clinical practice -know the phases of new drug development and its phases -understand and apply the knowledge of pharmacotherapy of specific groups of patients (children) -know the role and competence of nurses in ensuring effective pharmacotherapy and prescribing medication in foreign countries
