Course content
|
The practical part of the subject includes the teaching of acute cases of abdomen with focus on differential diagnostics, therapy and postoperative care. The subject is focused mainly on the problems of abdominal abdominal complaints (appendicitis, ileus, cholecystopathy, ulcus duodena ventriculi), differential diagnosis of surgical abdominal attacks in relation to acute conditions in gynecology. Part of the lectured content is also the issue of pelvic trauma and abdominal injuries in relation to pregnancy and the issue of aftercare.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to teach students how to deal with problems of sudden abdominal attacks, and adopt the principle of differential diagnosis, follow-up therapy and providing care for a woman after surgery.
Upon completion of the course students will be able to provide highly specialized care in acute conditions in surgery (differential diagnosis of abdominal abdomen, preoperative care, patient preparation for individual performance, providing highly specialized care in the postoperative period).

The elaboration of the seminar work related to the topic of the department with the use and subsequent implementation of the acquired knowledge in the area of midwifery.
