Course content
The main themes předmětu: Definition, general principles, tactics and strategy of the provision of first aid, criminal liability in the absence of the first help, call first help. First aid in emergencies. Carry-on pharmacy, basic types of bandages, band-aid color technique. Rescue, positioning, and displacement of the affected. Communication with the affected, the family doctor. Manifestations of failure of basic life functions and procedures in the emergency resuscitation of adults, including options for the use of the AED, the specifics of the resuscitation of pregnant, the specifics of the resuscitation of children and newborns (with the use of search algorithms Basic Life Support according to the valid Guidelines of the European Resuscitation Council) Bleeding and his arrest, bleeding from body openings. Wounds and their treatment - types of wounds.First aid (PP):-shock,-the unconscious, the general principles of first aid in unconsciousness-poisoning,-injuries of the spine and spinal cord-injuries of the chest and organs of the thoracic cavity,-injuries of the abdomen,-thermal injury,-chemical burns, electric shock, strangulation, etc.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course first aid is the acquisition of the necessary theoretical and practical skills and initial therapeutic measures for conditions requiring pre-medical first aid. At the same time is the goal of the active mastery of the indicative assessment of urgent serious condition, assessment of the condition of the adult and child patient in a larger number of affected and determine priorities in the provision of first aid. Part of the course is a section on the organisation of first aid in liaison with the IRS.
After completing the course, students will be able to: - define the general principles, tactics and strategies first aid-know the criminal responsibility for failure to provide first aid, call for first aid-specify first aid in emergencies-interact with the disabled, family, a doctor-to demonstrate the rescue operation, positioning, and displacement of the affected,-apply the use of the AED, CPR-demonstrate first aid (PP):-shock,-the unconscious, the general principles of first aid in the unconscious,-bleeding-poisoning,-injuries of the spine and spinal cord-injuries of the chest and organs of the thoracic cavity,-injuries of the abdomen,-thermal injury,-chemical burns, electric shock,-hanging, strangulation, throttling,-disability area
