Course content
Definition of main topics: 1. Basic concepts (symptoms, syndrome, etiology, patogeneza, the course of disease, complications, prophylaxis, prevention, monitoring of vital organ function) 2. Medical history - generally, parts 3. Physical examination 4. The total test, habit, location, voice, and adnexa, body temperature, swelling) 5. Investigation head and neck 6. Examination of the heart (history, etc examination, methods), subjective and objective symptoms of diseases of the heart and blood vessels 7. Examination methods in cardiology (ECG, options 8. Subjective and objective symptoms of diseases of the digestive organs, the main investigative methods 9. Examination of the abdomen and gastrointestinal tract, sudden abdominal events 10. Examination of the musculoskeletal system 11. Subjective and objective symptoms of diseases of the respiratory system, chest examination, examination of the lungs 12. Examination of the liver, gallbladder, pancreas 13. Examination of the kidneys and urinary tract (medical history, physical examination, methods) 14. Symptoms of diseases of the endocrine system, the investigation methods 15. Disorders of the internal environment, acid-base balance 16. Methods of investigation in disorders of hematopoiesis, blood transfusion 17. Diabetes mellitus and complications, methods of investigation

Learning outcomes
The course includes comprehensive information on the symptomatology of systemic diseases and basic diagnostic investigation methods in various fields. The aim is to obtain information about the procedures of the physical examination required for a working differential diagnosis for individual states and for the establishment of a basic medical history.
After the students will be able to: - describe the basic concepts (symptom, the prevention, prophylaxis, patogeneza) - to measure and evaluate the physiological functions - an overall examination of the patient including head, neck, chest, abdomen, extremities and organ - use investigative methods and system for each objective and systémůn - to identify symptoms of the disease

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam, Didactic Test, Dialog, Seminar Work

Active participation in practical exercises 80%, active participation in seminars, processing of patient assessment, oral verification of theoretical knowledge.
