Course content
Basic terminology of First Aid Integrated rescue system A single procedure for the provision of first aid Sorting, positioning, and the evacuation of the wounded The principles of bandaging technique The solution of model situations - bleeding, shock, coma, disorders of breathing and blood circulation KPCR in adults and children Head injury, brain, spine, injuries of bones and joints, chest, pelvis Acute conditions in children and in women during pregnancy Mass accidents and disasters Glove pharmacy - in the home and first aid kit. Consciousness, shock, bleeding, accidents? CPCR (cardiopulmonary and cerebral resuscitation) Acute conditions in children and puerperal women

Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Training in job and motor Skils
Learning outcomes
Students acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills to provide pre-medical first aid and gain basic knowledge of first aid principles for different health conditions. Part of the course is knowledge of disaster medicine and crisis management.
Students will be able to use theoretical knowledge and practical skills for first aid provision in different situations.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and basic skills in midwifery.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student

Attendance in seminars and tutorials, Practical management of a model situation.
