The course deals with the issue of human sexuality in the field of phylogenetic and ontogenetic development, extends the knowledge of sexual health care and psychiatry. It introduces students to the issue of the sexual needs of a person in terms of developmental and cultural differences. It focuses on sexual dysfunctions, their symptoms, treatment, and the impact on the quality of life. It deals with sexual deviations, their diagnosis, symptoms and treatment.
Students will get acquainted with the issues of human sexuality, its development and genetic conditionality. They will obtain information about sexual dysfunction in the context of medical issues, its treatment and impact on the quality of life. Students will be informed on a wide range of sexual deviations in terms of legislation and treatment options.
