Course content
Definition of the main topics of the course: -Specifics of Surgical nursing care for patients with diseases of the head and neck (concussion, contusion, KC trauma, goiter) -Specifics of Surgical nursing care for patients with diseases of the chest (lung, pneumothorax, mammary tumors) -Specifics of Surgical nursing care for patients with diseases of the heart and vascular system (CAD-coronary bypass, thrombosis, thrombophlebitis, varicose veins, acute and chronic arterial closures) -Specifics of Surgical nursing care for patients with acute abdomen (inflammatory, ileus, gastrointestinal bleeding) -Specifics of Surgical nursing care for patients with diseases of the stomach (esophageal varices, gastroduodenal ulcers, ileostomy, colostomy, liver tumors) -Specifics of Surgical nursing care for patients with diseases of the genitourinary tract (urolithiasis, kidney tumors, prostate tumors) -Specifics of Surgical nursing care in other fields - Transplantation (transplant program in the country), basic nursing care in plastic surgery, the specifics of nursing care in surgery musculoskeletal (joint replacement, loss injuries of extremities)

Learning outcomes
This course is part of the complex of clinical nursing. Characterizes clinical conditions in surgery in terms of the specifics of the nursing process and the changed needs of patients for diseases in surgery, its etiology, symptoms and diagnosis and therapy.
After this training the student will be able to assess the state of the patient and prepare a plan for nursing care, respecting the special needs of patients with surgical diseases.
