Course content
The content of the practice is the provision of specific nursing care by the method of nursing process in a group of pediatric patients with a focus on needs in the areas: health promotion, nutrition, excretion, activity, rest, perception - cognition, self-perception, relationships, sexuality, stress management, safety-protection , comfort, growth and development. Within this individual clinical teaching, the student implements and documents individualized care of a child patient at children's workplaces using the nursing process in specific conditions - performs a clinical assessment of the child's needs, performs nursing diagnostics, proposes a care plan, implements nursing interventions and evaluates the effect care provided. Provides education for children and parents in specialized clinics. The student is able to independently and proactively approach specialized care activities, manages complex situations, manages the performance of basic and specialized nursing care in common situations according to standards of care. Supervision is implemented within the practice.

Learning outcomes
Nursing practice takes place at children's workplaces and specialist outpatient clinics. Students are led by mentors of nursing practice of medical facilities.
After completing the internship, students will be able to implement nursing care for children in children's workplaces and specialist clinics.

Implementation of previous practices.

Defense of nursing documentation conducted according to the principles of the nursing process - documenting all phases of the nursing process in a selected child in nursing homes pediatric care. Submission of a document and completion of an internship with evaluation from a clinical workplace.
