Course content

Balneology basics, natural medicinal resources, balneology and balneohygiene, classic medical services and their effect on the body, application of rehabilitation and physical therapy for various balneotherapy procedures, mechanisms of action. Suitability spa treatment for each disease, contraindications for balneotherapy, balneace specifics .

Learning outcomes
|
The objective of the course is to introduce students to the basics of traditional treatments in spas in the Czech Republic - balneotherapy natural healing source, make them familiar with the mechanism of the effect of various treatments on the body, including indications and contraindications treatments. Understand the significance of cooperation with rehabilitation and physical therapy. The tradition of spas in the Czech Republic, legislation balneotherapy .
Students will be able to describe the system spas in the Czech Republic, characterize the mechanisms of individual treatments in balneotherapy
