Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to acquire basic knowledge of public health, health policy and health systems and to understand their importance for the management of health care institutions.
On completion of the course, the student is able to define basic health determinants and their prevention, conditions affecting the health of the population. He know the organization of healthcare providers. He knows the international health promotion programs. Students will acquire basic knowledge of the Public Health´s basic charakteristics in The Czech Republic.
