Course content
- Introduction to mental hygiene and health psychology. - Stress in contemporary society. - Anxiety and approaches to managing it. - Working with aggression and other challenges related to mental health. - Practice of selected techniques.

Learning outcomes
The course introduces students to fundamental topics in the field of mental hygiene and mental health. It focuses on a holistic approach to health, the issues of stress and anxiety in contemporary society, and selected topics from positive psychology. The course also presents and practices basic mental hygiene techniques based on current scientific literature.
The student is able to apply selected mental hygiene techniques in practice, reflect on psychological challenges of contemporary society, and place them within the broader context of psychological aspects of personality. The student understands the basic principles of working with these topics and recognizes the importance of mental health for overall quality of life.
