Course content
* The subject matter of social psychology. * Socialization: socialization as a lifelong process. * Family as a primary group and a socializing agent; its importance from the perspective of the biopsychosocial approach to illness. * Small social groups and their influence. * Group structure, group composition, and the influence of groups on selected psychological processes in childhood and adulthood. * Stereotypes in perception. The system of social roles. * Affiliation, attraction, and love. Aggressive behaviour. * Challenging life situations.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)

Learning outcomes
The course is designed as a theoretical and practical subject. Using scientific methods, it enables students to understand and explain how individuals' thoughts, emotions, and behaviours are influenced by the actual, imagined, or perceived presence of others. The course introduces students to individual behaviour, experiences, and personal functioning within a social context. The focus of the course is the individual person living within specific social conditions.
