Learning outcomes
|
The goal is to supplement and deepen language education and to develop language skills with a focus on specialized topics. To lay the groundwork for the fluent and seamless use of the language in professional practice and in communication with patients, clients, their families, coworkers, and other healthcare personnel.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to use professional language when communicating with patients/clients and colleagues; they will be familiar with both general and specialized terminology in the field and will be able to apply it in practice.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Written exam
80% attendance at the seminar, active participation, completion of assigned tasks, and a final test.
