Course content |
This course helps students recognize stressful work situations and learns to deal with them in accordance with ergonomic principles. The practical part is focused on introducing basic principles of patient manipulation, principles of sitting and standing and the basics of the ""back school".

Learning outcomes |
The course provides students the necessary minimum knowledge of components and relationships within the general system of human at work, with application in order to be able to distinguish the critical points, analyze them and propose practical adjustments in a particular problem situations.
Students will acquire basic information about the ergonomics of sitting, standing and other working positions, their basic biomechanical and kinesiological characteristics. They learn to use principles of "back school" at work and to prevent locomotory disorders as a result of workload. |
