Content of the course Rehabilitation propedeutics provides the basic knowledge of clinical aspects of movement as a function and its importance in an improvement of an overall patient´s state. The main aim is to prepare the students for a clinical practice in the sense of an approach to the patient. The course creates basic skills and acquires knowledge of passive and active movement, get familiar with the principles of manipulation with a patient, rules of verticalization and with the possibilities of repositioning. Students get acquainted with techniques of improving a function of musculoskeletal system and general condition exercise applicable during hospitalization.
Student will acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge and will learn the basics of manipulation with a patient and his support during verticalization.

Active participation in practicums and seminars. Continuous demonstration of knowledge from previous lessons. Project on selected topics presented in PPT presentation. Final written test followed by a practical exam.
