Course content
Topics of practical lectures: The content of the course provides information about how to measure body proportions and dimensions. It includes body weight measurements, determining body fat percentage, height and length dimensions, upper and lower limb, head and torso measurements. Part of the course is the practical application of given information. Somatometric data are often the basis of a whole range of research in anthropomotorics, where they usually fulfil the role of independent variables, in which we examine how their variability affects motor symptoms. The total hours for the course is 54, of which in-person classes 16 and home-prep classes 38.
