Obsah předmětu
|
After the fifth and sixth semesters, the student is able to communicate in everyday situations related to their life in the Czech Republic and Olomouc. They are able to navigate the Czech hospital, the Czech health care system and communicate effectively with Czech patients. The student can read simple texts in Czech and can also write them. The student can navigate in simplified texts of medical documentation. In the fifth semester the student will study lessons 22 to 24 from the book Czech Step by Step and vocabulary related rheumatology, neurology, instructions, vocabulary related to hospital from the book Talking Medicine. The student will improve his/her knowledge of physiotherapeutic Czech from other materials.

The aim of the course is to work with Czech at A2/B1 CEFR level and teach physiotherapy students to communicate with patients in Czech without the help of English. Students learn about topics that concern them, such as everyday life in the Czech Republic, Olomouc, study, travelling, work, etc. Above all, the student is able to communicate effectively with a Czech patient in Czech.
Students can make themselves understood in more complicated situations, they are able to give their opinions, discuss and defend their views. They are acquainted with Czech culture, history, customs and habits. They are able to communicate with their clients, explain treatment procedures.

Active participation in the lessons is required for successful completion of the course (4 absences per semester is allowed, but the student is required to complete the information from the missed lesson.). The student is obliged to inform the teacher of his/her absence. Regular home preparation is required. During the semester the student will take 2 progress tests, which must be passed with a minimum of 65 %. The basic limit to for passing the Credit test is 65 %, an oral examination follows.
