The course is focused on theoretical knowledge. It introduces students to the International Classification of Functional, Disability and Health (MKF, ICF). It presents new concepts of classification, components and qualifiers. The aim of the course is to gain and broaden knowledge about comprehensive rehabilitation, where the use of the concept of comprehensive rehabilitation will cover the problem of a disadvantaged individual in all aspects. It will help to solve problems to which an individual faces every day and thus improve the quality of his life. For the successful resocialization of the individual, it is necessary to use all the components of rehabilitation, therefore to provide him not only with therapeutic rehabilitation but also with the social, pedagogical and working rehabilitation. It represents social rehabilitation as a set of specific activities. These are fully aimed on training necessary skills of the individual with disabilities to achieve independence and self-sufficiency with respect to the current state of health. It supports his return to his own home environment and the restoration of his original lifestyle.
