Orthopaedic diagnostic tests and procedures important for physiotherapists 2.Patient's physiotherapeutic assessment 3.Evaluating of specific questionnaires used in patients with orthopaedic disorders 4.Patient's education 5.Practical training of physiotherapy techniques used in patients with acute phase of disease 6.Practical training of physiotherapy techniques used in patients with subacute phase of disease 7.Practical training of physiotherapy techniques used in patients during outpatient rehabilitation 8.Practical training of physiotherapy techniques used in patients during inpatient rehabilitation 9.Preparing home exercise programme for patients with orthopaedic disorders 10.Endurance training for patients with orthopaedic disorders 11.Strength training for patients with orthopaedic disorders 12.Evaluating of the level of daily physical activity in patients with orthopaedic disorders 13.Symptoms monitoring in patients with orthopaedic disorders Celkový rozsah předmětu je 8 hodin, z toho 54 kontaktních a 27 nekontaktních.

The course offers a theoretical and practical knowledge and skills required to enhance a practise of physical therapy interventions in orthopaedics. The students will learn how to perform, evaluate and interpret various diagnostic and functional tests commonly used in rehabilitation of different diagnosis, gain information about practical approaches and techniques used in patients with acute as well as subacute phase of diseases, learn about the risks, benefits and importance of the rehabilitation in patients with orthopaedic disorders and set up a short-term and long-term rehabilitation plan.
Aim of the course is to provide practice base for students for understanding how to design and perform physiotherapy treatment in patients with orthopedic disorders. |
