1.Introduction and clarification of basic neurophysiological principles of so-called classical tapping and kinesio taping. Explanation of the differences between the methods used. 2.Basics of application of rigid and elastic tapes, including contraindications and indications of their use. 3.Demonstration and practical training of standard techniques for the use of rigid and elastic tapes. 4.Techniques supporting joint stabilization; inhibitory and facilitating application of kinesio tape to selected muscle groups.

The course content includes practical examples of the use of rigid and elastic tapes by the teacher. Students then work in pairs and apply tapes according to the instruction manual and accompanying literature. The teacher makes a possible correction.
The student will get an idea of the possibilities of using rigid and elastic tapes to solve selected functional and structural disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
