1.Selected chapters from practical exercises: 2.Examination and mobilization of shoulder girdle arm, elbow joint, hand. 3.Examination and mobilization of the hip, knee, hock. 4.Examination and mobilization of the cervical spine. 5.Examination and mobilization of the thoracic spine. 6.Examination and mobilization of the lumbar spine. 7.Treatment of selected muscles of the locomotor system - upper, lower limbs and trunk. Celkový rozsah předmětu je 108 hodin, z toho 60 kontaktních a 48 nekontaktních.

The student acquires practical and theoretical bases for examination and treatment of soft tissues through mobilization techniques. The content of teaching is also the indication and basic algorithms of manual therapy in the rehabilitation of patients. The practical part involves commonly used techniques designed to influence articular block of peripheral joints and spinal segments. The theoretical knowledge follows the kinesiological principles and is included during the seminars.
After completion of the course the student will be able to perform functional diagnostics of the locomotor system, manual treatment of muscles, fascia and joints of the whole locomotor system focusing on the application in the physiotherapist practise.

Active student attendance is required. Written, oral or practical assessment of the acquired skills is a part of the credit test. The content of exam is also based on the basic knowledge of functional anatomy, kinesiology and manual soft techniques.
