Obsah předmětu
|
The aim of the course is to work with Czech at A2 to B1/1 CEFR level and teach physiotherapy students to communicate with patients in Czech without the help of English. Students learn about topics that concern them, such as everyday life in the Czech Republic, Olomouc, study, travelling, work, etc. The course focuses on practical mastery of the language. The following methods will be used in teaching Czech: class discussion, listening, roleplay, reading, writing, interpretation, student presentations. Emphasis is placed on the student's self-study during home preparation.

Výstupy z učení
|
Acquisition of basic communication strategies, language structures and vocabulary in order to speak the language in everyday life situations, making students familiar with basic linguistic terminology and with basic grammar structure of the Czech language. Practical use of grammar.
Students can make themselves understood in more complicated situations, they are able to give their opinions, discuss and defend their views. They are acquainted with Czech culture, history, customs and habits.

Hodnoticí metody a kritéria

Active participation in the lessons is required for successful completion of the course (4 absences per semester is allowed, but the student is required to complete the information from the missed lesson.). The student is obliged to inform the teacher of his/her absence. Regular home preparation is required. During the semester the student will take 2-3 Progress tests, which must be passed with a minimum of 65 %. The basic limit to for passing the Credit test is 65 %.
