Course content
|
In this course, students will receive a brief overview of hierarchy of law regulations in the Czech Republic with emphasis on current health legislation, including international treaties and agreements to which the Czech Republic has committed itself. Main topics: - hierarchy of legaslation in the Czech Republic, legal order, legal norms, system and sources of law. - Basic legal regulations in the health sector of the Czech Republic in a brief overview. - International treaties and agreements to which the Czech Republic has committed itself. - Constitution, Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms. - General legislation of the Czech Republic and its application in the health sector. - Providing health servies in the Czech Republic according to Act No. 372/2011 Coll. as amended, - Fitness to practice health profession: legislation in force. - Public health insurance in a brief summary. - Civil liability of health professionals. - Criminal law and its relevance in healthcare. - Family law in relation to healthcare. - European Union regulations and their implementation in the Czech Republic in a brief overview.
