Course content
Content: - Comprehensive rehabilitation and its components - Medical rehabilitation aspect - cooperation of physiotherapist, occupational therapist, orthotist-prothetist, biomedical engineer in therapy of patients with severe physical disabilities. Application of robotic rehabilitation, telerehabilitation, virtual reality and other modern procedures in clinical practice. - Pre-occupational and occupational rehabilitation aspect - cooperation with labor office, industrial enterprises. Occupational therapy diagnosis, workplace ergonomics, preventive programs for employees. Protected workplaces. - Pedagogical rehabilitation aspect - cooperation with special educators (clinical speech therapist, sign language therapist, etopedist). Training of cognitive functions, communication, neurorehabilitation. - Social rehabilitation aspect - cooperation with social workers. Development of social adaptation, consolidation of self-sufficiency, social security, housing, household, leisure activities. - Psychological rehabilitation aspect - cooperation with psychologists and psychotherapists. - Law and economy aspect - cooperation with authorities, economists. State policy on support for people with disabilities. Legislative support for the rights of people with disability, psychological support of clicents and carers, financial support. - Technical support - compensatory aids for persons with physical and sensory disability, detection of interior and exterior barriers, proposals for solution.

Learning outcomes
The subject gives the students the opportunity to become familiar with the current requirements for teamwork among professionals in the field of comprehensive rehabilitation. They gain complex information about the possibilities of providing comphrehensive rehabilitation and organisation of rehabilitation care in the CR. They will gain competence to participate in the development of integrated individual treatment plans with the aim of maximum patient resocialisation.
