Course content
|
International classification - disease - handicap, and functional disorders. Disability and handicap terminology. Rehabilitation and its forms - medical, social, work, psychological, pedagogical. Rehabilitation team - rehabilitation as a team work, sequence of the components.

Learning outcomes
|
Introduction to the issues of disabled people. Practical overview of basic types of compensatory and rehabilitation aids; mastering social security and possibilities of employment.
Upon completion of the course students will be familiar with social politics of the state and will be able to give recommendations for individual patients.
