Course content
|
The theoretical framework of the course provides possible starting points for working with clients in social services with disabilities of various degrees in the context of kinesthetic mobilization. It defines the principles of the concept, the environment of social services and possible diseases that predict its use in practice. As part of the practical training, the established procedure in the field of ADL (especially its personal component) will be demonstrated. The focus will be on changes affecting the client's movement abilities.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide a comprehensive overview of the analysis and evaluation of the process used in supporting people with disabilities of various degrees and extents according to the principles of kinesthetic mobilization.
After completing this course, participants will be able to find suitable movement strategies utilizing the concept of kinesthetic mobilization in the field of PADL for people with disabilities.

The course will end with a practical demonstration of positioning and appropriate movement strategies for a specific client at the Dominika Kokory Centre.
