Course content
Topics: - international politics of research, development and innovation of the Czech Republic, - financing sciences, development and innovations (basic, applied research, institutional and earmarked funding), - requirement for preparation of a grant application - project management (project objectives, eligible costs, timetable preparation, professional competences, preparation of project outputs, interim and final reports), - tender documentation and grant applications from selected providers, - principles of the Student Grant Competition at Palacký University Olomouc.

Assessment methods and criteria

Preparation of a research study project on a selected topic. In the project, the student will defend his/her knowledge of the topic by formulating a relevant research question, adequate methods and evaluating the ethical, methodological and organizational risks of the project. The assignment will also include providing feedback on other students' projects.
