Course content
|
The hand as a functional unit of the upper limbs. Grip tests. Differential diagnostics of instabilities in the wrist and CMC joint of the thumb. Damage to the tendon apparatus of the hand. The functional kinesiology of the hand of patients with spinal cord trauma, cerebral palsy and stroke. Peripheral paresis and surgical reconstruction their results - tendon-muscle transfers. Rehabilitation of individual clinical units.

Learning outcomes
|
The theoretical and practical seminars provide students a basic overview of the kinesiology and pathokinesiology of the hand and differential diagnostics. Surgical options are explained and current trends in the rehabilitation strategy in the given area are discussed.
Students gain a basic overview of the kinesiology and patokinesiology aspects, diagnostics and rehabilitation of the hand, including current operating possibilities in the Czech Republic and abroad.
