Course content
Topics: Basic concepts of management. Factors outside the school environment: political, economic, social, cultural, demographic, technical and technological. Environment within school and relationship network in school. Factors of internal school environment: sources of material and non-material character. School as a specific organization. The school as a system transformation, social, and open. "Management" as a management process. Planning of school development. Use of project procedures in school practice. School organization. Legislation, regulations school, structure of people in school. People management cooperation. Preparing and conducting meetings, delegating tasks, conflicts, work control, motivation. Evaluation of the school's work.

Learning outcomes
This subject is oriented on school management where school is understood as transformative system that should secure the processes leading to qualitative and quantitative changes in pupil's personality. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the course the participants will be able to: - Use the basic management terms in an appropriate way, - Explain the concept of the school as a specific organization within the transformation system, - Explain how the factors of external and internal school environment can influence its existence and functioning, - Apply basic management knowledge in a school environment, - Specify basic legal standards and policy documents applicable to schools and their staff, search for them and understand them, - Use project-based procedures in everyday school life. Upon completion of the seminars, the participants will understand that each school employee is an important part of the school and is responsible for the school image.

Interest in the subject matter.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of linguistic, Seminar Work

Completion of given tasks/tests in the seminar sessions or iin online learning environment. Studying given and supportive materials.
