Výstupy z učení

Course aims at exchange students at the Faculty of Physical Culture and brings an introduction to traditional dance as non-material heritage of the society in the Czech Republic. Students will become familiar with Moravian folk dance specifics with emphasis on the region Haná. Integral part of classes will be putting dances into a context of traditional folk culture and its appearance in present days - still maintained rituals and habits, differences between village and town environment, folk festivals. The core of the lessons will be practical training of the folk dances. After finishing the course, students should manage doing the basic movement components and they should be able to create a very simple dance by their own.
After completion of the course students will master basic elements of chosen folk dances. When combining these elements they can be able to create a simple variation based on folk music.
