Course content
|
1. General principles of team cooperation and various views of this issue. 2. Nature and context of cooperation - synergy, i.e. values reached by a group exceed the sum of individual values reached by group members. 3. Gaining awareness of sharing objectives and paths in a cooperative environment. Individuality, invention, creativity, freedom of action and differences among determined roles within methodological and assessment systems. 4. Introduction of certain specifics of team roles in conflict situations. 5. Discussion about leadership issues and influencing teams. Ethical aspects of manipulation with team members in order to increase the effectiveness of group processes and "accelerate" group dynamics. 6. Management styles and their effects on team work. 7. Overview of general procedures of personal assessment (human resource development), methods and types of assessment and related threats.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to explore the roots and conditions of cooperation, care for its development, and particularly its cultivation. An inseparable part of the course is self-experience practice, during which the student experiences the effects of cooperation-gaming programmes on the experience sphere of an individual and a group. The principle of cooperation as a natural human skill (if conditions are provided). The student is motivated to lifelong learning in this area. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the course the student understands the roots of cooperation and the conditions of its development. The student knows the principles of care for the development of cooperation and understands the significance of its cultivation. The student knows the basic principles of team cooperation and is able to apply them in practice.

Prerequisites
|
Required basic knowledge of pedagogy, sociology, education in nature, gaming programmes, developmental and social psychology and personality psychology.

Student performance, Seminar Work
Exploring the phenomenon of group cooperation through out an individual lifespan (a lifeline method or interview or foreign scientific article), Power Point presentation, colloquium.
