Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to extend the students' knowledge in general management, introduce the principles of strategic management, crisis management, process management and human resource management, and present the effects of globalization on corporate management. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the course the student: - has knowledge required for successful motivating and managing human resources, - is able to identify the stage of development of a company and deal with different developmental company crises, - has a basic overview of corporate administration and information about the effects of globalization on corporate management.
Prerequisites
The course is a follow-up of the Basic principles of management course. The students are supposed to know the basic terms of management and the basic planning, organization, management and controlling concepts.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Analysis of Activities ( Technical works)

Seminar paper on a given topic and pursuant to the Publication Manual of the Faculty of Physical Culture, a written test followed by a test of application of acquired knowledge into practice.
