Course content
1. Introduction to managerial skills 2. Time management 3. Delegating 4. Management of meetings 5. Managerial decision making I. 6. Managerial decision making II. 7.-10. Coaching 11.-12. Summary, practical seminars aimed at managerial skills.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Attendace - 13 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Exam - 40 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to gain knowledge about and adopt the principles of managerial skills. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the course the student has the knowledge about the following managerial skills: - Time management - Management of meetings - Delegating - Coaching - Problem solving through creative techniques
Prerequisites
The student has completed the Principles of management and management course.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Written exam

Lectures are mandatory. Credit is awarded for 100% attendance. Written test. The dates are available in STAG. The students are advised to choose a date that, in case of failure, allows to repeat the exam on another available date.
