Learning outcomes
|
Basic economic managing skills in theory and practice will be dealt with in detail. The gist of the subject is the analysis of the overall economic situation of the business subject. Orientation in a legal form of business activity is the content of the subject as well as appropriateness to a certain type of business activity and, above all, its focus on the diagnostics of a firm in relation to its balance sheet: property and its coverage by insurance; revenues, costs, specific indicators of firm operations: profitability, solidity and activity. Some firm managing procedure of the enterprise for a coming period of time is recommended via selected economic managing methods. There are chapters focusing on control and management aimed at profit orientation and the free market. The subject allows for a basic orientation in the economic surroundings of profit and nonprofit oriented subjects. This subject´s graduate will be able to assess the economic state of a legal subject and tentatively predict the development of basic indicators on the basis of his/her analysis of a balance sheet, a profit-and-loss report, CF, active debts and liabilities. Definition of strategic decisions and recommendations which will influence effectiveness, productivity, profitability, and possibly the solidity of the controlled subject is a condition of qualified firm control. After completing this course the student: - The base means economic context and relationships and on the basis that it is able to make economic decisions; - Understands the economic intervention of government and its follow-up policy; - Can economically interpret corporate expenses, revenues and profits; - Can distinguish between macro-and microeconomic aspects of processes in businesses; - Understand the nature of economic laws (taxation, public goods, government intervention, etc.)

Prerequisites
|
The subject of economics as a subject of basic economics does not need special expertise, in addition to knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
