Learning outcomes

The aim of the class The aim of the course is to acquaint students with traditional and modern concepts of talent and sports talent in pedagogical and kinatropological practice. Students will acquire competencies in the areas of identification, development and work with sports talent. Various topics in the area will be handled.
- will understand the complexity of sports talent issue - will be able to discuss the role of genes and environment in sports talent. - will acknowledge the liberal framework for work with sports talent. - will understand the concepts of talent, intelligence and multiple intelligence - will be aware of the key components for talent identification - will understand the developmental rules for sports talent. - will be able to differentiate among various models of sports talent - will be able to utilize the basics of the development of psychological characteristics of developing excellence - will acquire the basic competences in building motivation for peak performance
