The segmental reflex massage technique according to Dalich and Gläser - indications, contraindications, sequences 4. Theoretical foundations of lymphology 5. Diagnosis and treatment of lymphoedema 6. Manual lymphatic drainage Seminars: 1. Segmental reflexology massage technique according to Dalich and Gläser - diagnosis, back sequence 2. Segmental reflexology massage technique according to Dalich and Gläser - neck and head sequence 3. Segment-based reflex massage technique according to Dalich and Gläser - thoracic and pelvic sequence 4. Manual lymphatic drainage - basic manoeuvres. 5. Manual lymphatic drainage - basic sequences I. 6. Manual lymphatic drainage - basic sequences II.

Learning outcomes
|
Students will gain a basic understanding and practical skills in the therapeutic massage techniques used in physiotherapy - segmental reflex massage techniques according to Dalich and Gläser, and lymphatic drainage.
The student is able to apply the knowledge and experience gained in the segmental technique of reflex massage according to Dalich and Gläser and in lymphatic drainage in everyday rehabilitation practice.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of anatomy of human body with special focuse on topography.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student
100% attendance at practical sessions; demonstration of the ability to perform the segmental reflexology technique according to Dalicho and Gläser; demonstration of a good understanding of massage techniques, including lymphatic drainage - completion of the credit.
