Course content
Latin alphabet. Terminology of grammar. Syntax of special professional terms. Declinations of Latin (Greek) substantives and adjectives. Latin prefixes. Latin numerals. Latin-Greek prefixes and suffixes.

Learning outcomes
This course provides students with special terminology used in physiotherapy with the aim they will understand diagnostics and will know how to use correctly medical terminology of Greek-Latin origin.
Ability to understand medical terminology used in physiotherapy.
Prerequisites
No special prerequisities are required.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

A knowledge of basic Latin and Greek vocabulary and morfology necessary for underestanding of anatomical terminology.
