Course content
|
This practical subject introduces students to the specific form of physical education focusing on physically weak individuals. It represents the means of preventive exercise used in practice for example: passive stretching, active stretching, fascial stretching, strethening deep stabilazitoin system, pilates, joga, powerjoga, preventive exercise with overball, gymball, roller act.). In the practical training the students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to create individual and group training programs. Topics for practical lectures: 1. Introduction of the history of preventive exercise programs, introduction of the basic principles of exercise, principles of designing an exercise unit 2. Passive stretching 3. Active stretching 4. Fascial stretching 5. Strethening deep stabilazitoin system 6. Joga 7. Powerjoga 8. Pilates 9. Preventive rehabilitation exercises program 10. Preventive rehabilitation exercises program - aids 11. Preventive rehabilitation exercises program - aids

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the Preventive Physical Exercise is to learn the students theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills in the area of preventive exercise programs and health physical education. Throughout the course emphasis will be put on individual student's work in implementing various exercises in exercise units designed for physically weak individuals.
The students will be able to use the acquired knowledge and skills in their future jobs in rehabilitation and sports centres and for their personal development of physical and mental health.

Prerequisites
|
A prerequisite for this course is sufficient knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, basics of sports training and own physical fitness.

|
Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student
Test + practical exam, 90% participation in practical seminars, development and presentation of own preventive exercise unit
