Course content
Practical sessions in schools, authorities, departments and services active in population protection and crisis management. The students search for an appropriate institution themselves with the lecturer?s assistance. In cooperation with a specific institution the students produce a practice plan according to the activities of the institution and follow the plan.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course to teach the students practical skills in the area of population protection, compare the theory with practice, apply theoretical knowledge in addressing practical issues. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the course the student is ready to address basic principal problems of emergency situations occurring in the Czech Republic.

Essay, Seminar Work

Application of theoretical knowledge in practice, keeping a record of achievement, submission of a seminar paper.
