1. General framework of risky online behaviour with a focus on cyberbullying 2. Internet safety-concepts and their specification and context 3. Ten principles of a good cyber parent and teacher 4. Social networking phenomenon and its (non)safety 5. Threats and risks of online behaviour 6. Prevention of risky behaviour on the Internet

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the current threats associated with current Internet activities from the perspective of second grade elementary school students and high school students. The course includes an introduction to the understanding of threats associated with the Internet, electronic communication and social networking environments. Attention will also be focused on the ways, organisation and information on the principles of safe use and behaviour on the Internet, both from a didactic point of view and from the point of view of the organisation of prevention within the school and family. The subject will be discussed with students in seminars in the context of the broader framework of risk behaviour prevention. The topics presented will be accompanied by updates on current security theory and practice related to the Internet, as well as the current state of development of applications and threats related to artificial intelligence. Course objectives: - to define basic terms; - to clarify various forms of cyberbullying; - to describe methods of establishing virtual contacts; - to analyse problems of sexting; - to compare and sum up theoretical knowledge and real world.

Prerequisites
Accompanying completion of bachelor's degree courses is recommended, especially courses dealing with population protection and safety.

Assessment methods and criteria

To complete the subject, activity during the seminar, and the elaboration of a seminar paper in the specified term is required, if its elaboration is required. The credit will be realized in the form of a test in the MOODLE system. When the required number of correct answers (80 %) is reached, the test will be evaluated as successful. If the required number of correct answers is not reached, an interview will optionally be conducted.
