Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to teach the students theoretical and practical aspects of the following: - Resuscitation techniques and skills with and without resuscitation equipment. - Vital functions and their verification Resuscitation: basic, extended, follow-up. First aid in selected emergency conditions. Occurrence of a higher number of injuries and appropriate procedures (disaster medicine). START classification. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the course the student is able to: - Demonstrate selected resuscitation methods, - Describe the methods of verification of vital functions, - Describe the principles of key procedures in case of mass occurrence of injuries.

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
