Course content
1. Security terminology. 2. Basic security documents. 3. State security system. 4. Ensuring public order and internal security of the state. 5. Ensuring external security of the state.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Projection (static, dynamic)
  • Attendace - 26 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce to the students the current security policy of the Czech Republic. In particular, this includes security terminology, basic security documents, state security system and ensuring internal and external security of the state. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the course the student is knowledgeable about theoretical principles of state security and is ready to apply these principles in practice. The student is able to think in the context of state security issues.
