Course content
1. General introduction into the area of paediatric oncology. 2. Presentation of strategic documents aimed at physical activity promotion, presentation of the National Oncological Plan of the Czech Republic. 3. Physical activity as a means of prevention. 4. Possible application of physical activity during and after treatment. 5. Educational programmes in the area of preventive oncology. 6. Planning, delivery and evaluation of a made-up project (as per teacher instructions).

Learning outcomes
The course provides a general insight into the society-wide issue of oncological diseases with a focus on paediatric oncology. The aim of the course is to present basic information about the issue and about strategic documents promoting physical activity. The course informs about suitable physical activity used during and after treatment. The course also informs about the significance of physical activity as a means of prevention.
Upon completion of the course the student is knowledgeable about the issue of APA and oncological diseases. The student understands primary prevention and is able to deliver preventive educational programmes in the area of physical activity.
Prerequisites
Interest in the issue of physical activity and oncological diseases.
