Course content
- The student will gain practical experience in all swimming techniques, - The student will be able to demonstrate proper technique of all swimming styles, - The student will be able to identify incorrect swimming techniques, methods of correction, - By means of observation the student will learn about basic swimming teaching as well as sports training of all age categories.

  • Excursion - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to continue in the content of the KAS/SPPL1 and KAS SPPL/2 courses and enrich practical experience with theoretical knowledge in the area of swimming training. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
- The student is knowledgeable about swimming and swimming sports, - The student is able to describe proper technique of all swimming styles, identify incorrect swimming technique and apply methods of correction, - The student is able to apply appropriate technical exercise for various swimming techniques and their development, - The student is able to select suitable aids for improving swimming technique, - The student is able to participate in organizing a swimming competition.
