Course content
Deeper knowledge about sports training, specialisation in various disciplines, knowledge about the management and planning of athletic sports events and training camps. Basic knowledge about athletics for individuals with physical impairment.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Training in job and motor Skils
  • Preparation for the Exam - 20 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 26 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 80 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to allow the students to obtain a class II coach qualification upon meeting the requirements of SPAT5-6, KSPA 5-6. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the course the student is qualified to work as a professional athletics coach (holder of class II athletics coach licence).
Prerequisites
Meeting the requirements of the SPAT5 or KSPA5 or SAT5 or KSAT5course, or class III coach qualification.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

Completion of coaching practice in an athletic club, participation in organizing an athletic competition of training camp, submission of a thesis or seminar paper in the extent of a thesis aimed at athletics.
