Course content
1. Application of locomotion movements and dance steps in spatial variations with an emphasis on creative work. 2. Specific exercises of the arms, legs, and trunk using tempo, rhythmical and dynamic variations. 3. Standardized tools: ball, hoop, skipping rope, ribbon, clubs. 4. Short variation (16 bars) with sports tools and in a spatial arrangement. 5. Emphasis on individual creative work.

Learning outcomes
Following rhythmic gymnastics, this course further develops physical activity training with an emphasis on correct posture, technical and aesthetic requirements for gymnastic movement. The aim of the course is to introduce to the students the complexes of a training exercise with and without sports tools, also with respect to the spatial arrangement.
Upon completion of the course, the student understands the basic principles of the relationship between movement and music. The student knows the positions and movements of various body parts in compliance with the principles of correct posture and according to technical and aesthetic requirements applicable to a gymnastic movement. The student is knowledgeable about the complexes of a training exercise with and without sports tools, also with respect to the spatial arrangement. The student is capable of demonstrating a compulsory exercise with a specific tool.
Prerequisites
The student is able to make a movement without sports tools according to musical accompaniment.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student

Compulsory 24-32 bar exercise with specific sports tools, optional 24-32 bar exercise with any sports tools. Active participation in elementary gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, knowledge of PE terminology.
